SUM 41 was from Ontario in Canada on 1996 that initially formed by Deryck Whybley and Steve Jocz that has friend since Senior High School which have same ambition, is be famous. They first album Half hour of power recorded with Island Records in year 2000 and also SUM 41 success in get Platinum only in Canada. Afterwards after Half Four of Power, in next year have get 3 Platinum, and in second album All Killer No Filler still recorded with island Records.

Music nuance from SUM 41 was punk music and many influence with NOFX, although they said Iron Maiden and Judas Priest as big source music from their.
