Linkin Park is group band who have characteristic music Nu Metal that come from Aguora Hills, California. They has several times change his name, that is Xero, Hybrid Theory, and until names be Linkin Park. Before Chester be vocalist in Linkin Park, Mark Wakefield has more previously be vocalist in Linkin Park. But his out of from Linkin Park to be management in group Taproot. Dave Farrell (Phoenix) just a moment also has out of from Linkin Park. Whereas other members that is Brad Delson, Mike Shinoda, Joe Hahn, as well as Rob Bourdon) always remain in Linkin Park since first formation.

Early formed of Linkin Park because meet of Mike and Brad Delson, then they form this band with name Xero. But at this moment Brad also play for Relative Degree. Mike acquainted with Rob trough Brad and Rob gathered with Xero. When college, Brad acquainted with Phoenix (Linkin Park bassist) that was friend Brad’s room, and Mike meet with Joe Hahn (as turntablis in Linkin Park). Afterwards, Dave Farrell and Joe Hahn joined with Xero. At first, Mark Wakefield have position as vocalist, but they take over with Chester Bennington (vocalist former in Grey Daze) until now, and this moment the name of Zero has use with other groups, so they change name os Zero be Hybrid Theory and deal contract with company records is Warner Bros.

Once again, they must change this name because name of Hybrid Theory was similar with music group Hybrid that from Wales. So, again must change of name be Linkin Park until now. And name of Linkin Park take from name a garden in Los Angeles, Lincoln Park.

Linkin Park at this time has Hybrid Theory on 2000, Meteora on 2003, and also Minutes to Midnight on 2007 that recorded in studio. In Minutes to Midnight album, Linkin Park has change their music character be alternative-rock.
